6 EASY THINGS TO REMEMBER GOING INTO 2019

Updated: Jan 22, 2019

WoW!! Another year is almost over and there are so many things that I can say I learned about myself and those around me. I was blessed to become a new Mommy!!! LOOK AT GOD!!! (new Mommy blog coming soon).. this is our mean mugging picture... LOL!!

And guess what... there is nothing in the world more heart felt than going home every day and looking in that little man’s face. What has been your biggest achievement this year? I see a lot of people making posts about what they regretted in 2018, or how bad 2018 was to them, yet they are forgetting that there was a reason for it all. As for myself, I treat it like any other year, because I thank God for the good, the bad, and the ugly. What about your test? Your storms? We all know that they have arrived, even if they were too small for someone else’s eyes to see. Nevertheless, another year is almost here!!! What will you do different.

Here are six easy things to remember that will help you going into 2019:

1. LISTEN TO GOD WHEN MAKING DECISIONS

We all know that the flesh is a powerful thing, and entering a new year there are some things that we have planned to do, but there is a way to do it all. When I pray for decisions, I pray for discernment, because I want to know the difference in making the right and wrong decisions. What do you pray for? Does it help your decision process?

2. REMEMBER YOU SURVIVED BECAUSE OF HIS GRACE

The reason you survived the things that should have killed you was because of God’s Grace. Without it, you may have been in a situation where you lost your mind, or were on the verge of having a breakdown. Faith without works is dead, and even though you may pray to get through it, not having an action behind the plan makes it fail.

3. LOVE YOURSELF AS MUCH, OR EVEN MORE THAN YOU DID LAST YEAR

A lot of people think that others are conceited, or cocky because of the love they have for themselves. The devil is a lie. Loving yourself is part of growth and appreciation for the person that you are , and it assures you that you don’t want to be anyone else. Authenticity at it’s best!!!

4. DON'T ALLOW EVERYONE TO SPEAK OVER YOUR LIFE

The plans you make, the direction your year will go, is not determined by someone else. Yes, you may have friends and relatives that will tell you what THEY think is best for you, or what they see in your future, but how accurate are they? There are also those people out there that claim to be God sent, but are devils in sheep’s clothing. Look close enough, you will tell the difference.

5. APPLAUD OTHERS WHEN THEY SUCCEED

It is not a sin to clap for others, because this is where your blessings manifest. It IS possible to be friends with someone and genuinely be happy because they are succeeding, even if you are a few steps behind them. If anything is for you it will come to you, you don’t have to force it.

6. CHOOSE POSITIVITY OVER NEGATIVITY

Be careful about how you speak over your life, life and death is in the power of the tongue!!
